Here are a few of photos taken at the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge a couple of weeks ago. We had been sitting on the Boardwalk for an hour or so when the Warbler landed and posed in a nearby bush. The Phoebe has been visible frequently over the past few weeks as it supported a nest made in the boardwalk itself. link

Snowy Egret at Fort Worth Nature Center
I managed to get out to the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge last week and found this very photogenic Snowy Egret. He stayed around and posed for my son and I for over an hour. Red-bellied Woodpecker and Eastern Bluebird in Backyard
I was sitting in the backyard and saw a lot of bird activity. When I returned with my camera, I found a couple of Eastern Bluebirds appearing to be nesting in a bird house in the backyard. Then I spotted a Red-bellied Woodpecker sitting on one of our feeders. I added an new Miscellaneous Nature Photos section to the Nature Galleries. There you can find these and a couple more shots.

Prothonotary Warbler and Eastern Bluebird
I was able to take some pictures at the Fort Worth Nature Center this morning and found a Prothonotary Warbler and a pair of Eastern Bluebirds. These were added to the Nature / Fort Worth Nature Center Wildlife photos. Link

I had another opportunity to visit the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge a few weeks ago.
