I haven’t had much time to take pictures or post lately, but here are a few that I managed to take at the Fort Worth Nature Center a few weeks ago.  Both the Heron and the Egret were a little far, but the images were still interesting.  The deer was taken as I hung out the side of the car.  The link takes you to a couple more images.  link

Here are some photos taken last month at the Fort Worth Nature Center.  Pictured is a Glossy Ibis.  I also included in the link a couple of pictures of a Great Egret.

           I haven’t posted lately because I haven’t taken many pictures lately.  With it looking like we are finally going to break the 100+ degree heat wave, thoughts drift to cooler Fall temperatures.  Here are a couple of photos from the Fort Worth Nature Center taken during the Fall of ’09.  link

Here are a few of photos taken at the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge a couple of weeks ago.  We had been sitting on the Boardwalk for an hour or so when the Warbler landed and posed in a nearby bush.  The Phoebe has been visible frequently over the past few weeks as it supported a nest made in the boardwalk itself.  link

My son and I will be presenting wildlife photography techniques at the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge facility to a group of 5th and 6th Graders as a part of the Summer Camp program.  The link (click on the photo) is to a video containing a collection of photos that he and I took at the Center over the past couple of years.   link

I managed to get out to the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge last week and found this very photogenic Snowy Egret.  He stayed around and posed for my son and I for over an hour.  Links to some of these and other wildlife taken at the FWNC can be found by clicking on the image or on the following link:   fwnc_wildlife

Here are a couple of shots from today’s shoot at the Fort Worth Nature Center.

I was able to take some pictures at the Fort Worth Nature Center this morning and found a Prothonotary Warbler and a pair of Eastern Bluebirds.   These were added to the Nature / Fort Worth Nature Center Wildlife photos.  Link
