It consisted of a 3.5 hour ride over to the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge. There we saw, among other things, Whooping Cranes, Roseate Spoonbills, and Great Blue Herons. The lighting was a bit challenging as a storm was brewing, but I did manage to come away with a few interesting images.
